Kidney Donation After Death: Is Funeral Support Provided?
According to Clause 1, Article 3 of Circular 104/2017/TT-BTC regulating policies for organizing funerals and burying the remains of persons who donated organs after death or donated their bodies as follows:
In case the family members of persons who donated organs after death or donated their bodies wish to organize funerals and bury the remains, they shall be supported with a burial fee equivalent to 10 months of the statutory pay rate. Family members of persons who donated organs after death or donated their bodies must present documents proving their relationship with the deceased donor to the healthcare facility or the institution receiving and preserving the body to receive the policies for organizing the funeral and burying the remains as stipulated in this Clause.
Thus, if the family members of the person who donated organs after death wish to organize the funeral and bury the body of the deceased, they will be supported with an amount equivalent to 10 months of the statutory pay rate.
