Pursuant to Article 19 of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Cinema and Television Dramas issued by the Minister of Home Affairs together with Decision 840/QD-BNV in 2021 stipulating as follows:

1. The Chairman of the Association is the legal representative of all activities of the Association. The Chairman of the Association is a member of the Standing Committee elected by the Executive Committee from among the Association's Executive Committee members. Standards for the Association's President are prescribed by the Association's Executive Board.

2. Duties and powers of the Association President:

a) Carry out duties and powers according to the operating regulations of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Association;

b) Take full responsibility before the law, before the competent authority permitting the establishment of the Association, state management agency on the main areas of activity of the Association, before the Executive Board and Standing Committee of the Association on all activities of the Association. Direct and manage all activities of the Association according to the Association's Charter; Congress Resolution; resolutions and decisions of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Association;

c) Be the account holder of the Association. Representing the Association's interests in other economic organizations related to the Association's activities;

d) Chair meetings of the Executive Committee; direct the preparation, convene and chair meetings of the Standing Committee;

d) On behalf of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee, sign the Association's documents;

e) When the Association President is absent, the direction and management of the Association's affairs is authorized in writing to a Vice President.

3. The Vice President of the Association is a member of the Standing Committee elected by the Executive Board from among the Association's Executive Committee members. Criteria for Vice President of the Association are prescribed by the Association's Executive Board.

The Vice President of the Association assists the President of the Association in directing and managing the work of the Association according to the assignment of the President of the Association; Be responsible before the President of the Association and before the law for the field of work assigned or authorized by the President of the Association. The Vice President of the Association performs duties and powers according to the operating regulations of the Executive Committee and the Association's Standing Committee in accordance with the Association's Charter and the provisions of law.

4. In case the President or Vice President of the Association violates the law, Charter, regulations, or operating regulations of the Association, the Association's Executive Board will consider and decide on appropriate disciplinary measures, including penalties. Dismissal form according to the provisions of the Association's Charter and legal regulations.

From the above regulations, the Chairman of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Cinema and Television Film Rights is the legal representative of all activities of the Association. The Chairman of the Association is a member of the Standing Committee elected by the Executive Committee from among the Association's Executive Committee members. Standards for the Association's President are prescribed by the Association's Executive Board.

What are tasks of the General Secretary of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Cinema and Television Dramas Rights?

Pursuant to Article 20 of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Cinema and Television Dramas issued by the Minister of Home Affairs together with Decision 840/QD-BNV in 2021 stipulating tasks of the General Secretary of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Cinema and Television Dramas Rights as follows:

The Secretary General is a member of the Standing Committee introduced by the Association President and elected by the Association Executive Board, with the following powers and duties:

1. The Secretary General is responsible to the Chairman, Executive Committee, and Standing Committee for tasks assigned by the Chairman of the Association;

2. The General Secretary is the person who manages the activities of the Association's Office; Prepare content for meetings of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee; Periodically report to the Executive Board and Standing Committee on the Association's activities;

3. Responsible for the administrative, planning and synthesis work of the Association; Prepare annual reports and term reports of the Executive Committee;

4. Sign documents authorized by the Association President.

As regulations above, the General Secretary of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Cinema and Television Works Rights is a member of the Standing Committee introduced by the President of the Association and elected by the Executive Board of the Association, with powers and duties as prescribed above.

What are regulations on the Office for the Protection of Cinema and Television Dramas?

Pursuant to Article 17 of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Cinema and Television Dramas issued by the Minister of Home Affairs together with Decision 840/QD-BNV in 2021 stipulating the Office for the Protection of Cinema and Television Dramas as follows:

- The Association's Office is organized and operates according to the Regulations issued and approved by the Association's Standing Committee. The Association's Office is the permanent department assisting the President, Vice Presidents, Executive Committee, and the Association's Standing Committee in managing the activities of the Association.

- Employees of the Association's Office are recruited and work under contract regime according to the provisions of the Labor Code.

- The Association is allowed to set up representative offices in provinces and centrally run cities according to the provisions of law to carry out the Association's work. The functions, tasks, and operating regulations of the Association's representative office are issued by the Association's Standing Committee according to the provisions of the Association's Charter and the provisions of law.
