Pursuant to Clause 5, Article 6 of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Film and Television Rights promulgated together with Decision 840/QD-BNV in 2021 stipulates as follows:

Power

1. Propagate the principles and operation purposes of the Association.

2. Represent members in domestic and foreign relations in the field of protection of the rights of authors, copyright holders for cinematographic and television works and issues related to the functions and duties of the Association in accordance with the law and the Association's Charter.

3. Protect the legitimate rights and interests of members in the field of protection of the rights of authors and copyright holders with respect to cinematographic works and television series in accordance with the principles and purposes of the Association as prescribed by law.

4. Participate in research programs, projects, research topics, consulting and criticizing issues in the field of protection of rights of authors and copyright holders with respect to Vietnamese cinematographic works and television series at the request of state agencies; providing public services on issues in the field of activities of the Association in accordance with the law.

5. Give opinions on legal documents related to the activities of the Association in accordance with the provisions of law and at the request of competent state agencies. To propose to the competent state agency on issues related to the development of the Association and the field of operation of the Association in accordance with the Association's Charter and the provisions of law.

Therefore, the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Film and Television Film Rights has the right to comment on legal documents related to the activities of the Association in accordance with the law and the request of the competent state agency.

In addition, they also have the right to propose to competent state agencies on issues related to the development of the Association and the field of operation of the Association in accordance with the Association's Charter and the provisions of law.

What are the duties and powers of the President of the Association for the Protection of the Rights of Film and Television Films of Vietnam?

Pursuant to Clause 2, Article 19 of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Film and Television Rights issued together with Decision 840/QD-BNV in 2021 stipulating the duties and powers of the President of the Association for the Protection of the Rights of Film and Television Films of Vietnam as follows:

a) Perform tasks and exercise powers according to the operation regulations of the Executive Board and Standing Board of the Association;

+) Take full responsibility before the law, to the agency competent to authorize the establishment of the Association, the state management agency for the main field of operation of the Association, to the Executive Board, the Standing Board of the Association for all activities of the Association. Direct and administer all activities of the Association in accordance with the Association's Charter; Resolution of the General Assembly; resolutions and decisions of the Executive Board, the Standing Board of the Association;

+) Be the account holder of the Association. Representing the Association's interests in other economic organizations related to the Association's activities;

a) Preside over meetings of the Executive Committee; directing the preparation, convening and chairing of meetings of the Standing Board;

+) On behalf of the Executive Board, the Standing Board signs documents of the Association;

+) In the absence of the Association President, the direction and management of the Association's affairs is authorized in writing to a Vice President of the Association.

What are the powers and duties of the General Secretary of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Film and Television Rights in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 20 of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Film and Television Rights issued together with Decision 840/QD-BNV in 2021 stipulating the powers and duties of the General Secretary of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Film and Television Rights in Vietnam as follows:

The General Secretary is a member of the Standing Committee recommended by the President of the Association and elected by the Executive Board of the Association, has the following powers and duties:

- The General Secretary is responsible to the President, Executive Committee and Standing Board for the work assigned by the President of the Association;

- The General Secretary is the person who manages the activities of the Association's Office; prepare the contents of the meetings of the Executive Board and the Standing Committee; periodically report to the Executive Board and the Standing Board on the Association's activities;

- Be responsible for the administrative, planning and general work of the Association; prepare annual reports, reports on the term of the Executive Board;

- Sign the document authorized by the President of the Association.
