Where to Register for Organ Donation?
Based on Article 12 of the Law on Donation, Removal, and Transplantation of Human Tissues and Organs and Donation and Removal of Cadavers 2006, the procedure for registering the donation of tissues and organs from living persons is stipulated as follows:
- Individuals who meet the conditions prescribed in Article 5 of this Law have the right to express their wish to donate their tissues and organs to a medical facility.

Currently, there are two officially authorized places to register and issue organ donation cards in Vietnam to fulfill the desire to donate organs to save lives after death in Vietnam:
- In Hanoi: National Coordination Center for Human Organ Transplantation, located on the 2nd floor, Building C2, Viet Duc Hospital. Address: 40 Trang Thi, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi. Telephone: 0915.060.550 or 024.393.866.932. Website address: http://vnhot.com.vn.
- In Ho Chi Minh City: Coordination Unit for Human Organ Transplantation, Cho Ray Hospital. Address: 201B Nguyen Chi Thanh, District 5, HCMC. You can contact by phone for guidance on how to submit an organ and tissue donation registration form by mail.
