What is Family Planning?
As stated in Clause 9, Article 3 of the Population Ordinance of 2003:
- Family planning is the effort of the State and society so that each individual and couple can proactively and voluntarily decide the number of children, the timing of births, and the spacing between births to protect health, responsibly raise children, in accordance with societal norms and the living conditions of the family.
- Additionally, the Editorial Board provides you with a few terms as follows:
+ Population work is the management and organization of activities affecting population size, population structure, population distribution, and improving population quality.
+ The Human Development Index (HDI) is a composite statistic used to evaluate the level of human development, determined by average life expectancy, educational attainment, and per capita income.
+ Replacement fertility rate is the average fertility level across society where each couple has two children.
The above is the advisory content. We hope it will be helpful to you.
Sincerely!
