What documents are required to extend the temporary residence permit?

According to Clause 2, Article 17 of Circular 35/2014/TT-BCA, within 30 (thirty) days prior to the expiry of your temporary residence, you are responsible for going to the Police authority where you registered your temporary residence to proceed with the renewal procedures.

*Regarding the dossier for temporary residence renewal, including:

- Notification form of changes in household registration, population;

- Temporary residence book;

- In case you are a student, trainee staying in dormitories, student accommodations; workers staying in concentrated worker accommodations, you must have a written request for temporary residence renewal accompanied by a list.

*Regarding the processing time

According to Point b, Clause 2, Article 17 of this Circular, the processing time for the temporary residence renewal is 02 working days from the date of receiving a complete and valid dossier.
