The Place of Origin on the Birth Certificate and Household Registration Differ, Which Should Be Adjusted?
According to the provisions of Article 6 of Decree 123/2015/ND-CP
The birth certificate is the original civil status document of an individual.
All records and documents of an individual containing information on their surname, middle name, first name; date of birth; gender; ethnicity; nationality; hometown; and relationship with parents or children must be consistent with that individual's Birth Certificate.
In cases where the contents of the records and documents of an individual differ from those in their Birth Certificate, the head of the managing agency or organization that issues the documents has the responsibility to adjust the records and documents to match the information in the Birth Certificate.

If the place of birth is listed as Lam Dong on the birth certificate but as Dong Nai on the household register, it may be due to an error.
