Resolution on the Issue of Passports with Incorrect Personal Identification Numbers Printed

Passport is an important document issued by the Government of Vietnam to its citizens as a Permit granting the right to exit the country and the right to enter from abroad.

In the case where your passport contains erroneous National ID numbers, you must carry out the procedure to amend your passport in accordance with Circular 29/2016/TT-BCA amending and supplementing domestic ordinary passports for Vietnamese citizens.

- Required documents:

+ Application form according to the prescribed template;

+ Passport with at least 01 year of validity;

+ Documents proving the adjustment: National ID.

- Where to submit the application: Applicants requesting re-issuance, amendment, or supplementation of passports should submit the application at the Immigration Management Office of the provincial Public Security, the centrally affiliated city where they have permanent residence, temporary residence, or the Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security. In your case, it is the Immigration Management Office of Binh Duong Provincial Public Security.

- Processing time: Not more than 08 working days from the date of receiving a complete and valid application.
