Late Death Registration Fee
Clause 1, Article 33, the Civil Status Law 2014, stipulates the time limit for death registration as follows:
Within 15 days from the date of death, the spouse, children, parents or other relatives of the deceased are responsible for registering the death; in cases where the deceased has no relatives, the representative of the relevant agency, organization, or individual is responsible for registering the death.
Thus, in the case where your friend passed away one month before the death registration, it is considered overdue death registration.
