Is Educational Background Stored in the CCCD Database?
According to Article 15 of the Citizenship Identity Law 2014, the regulations on information in the Citizenship Identity Database are as follows:
- The content of information collected and updated includes:
a) Information stipulated in Clause 1, Article 9 of this Law;
b) Portrait photo;
c) Biometric characteristics;

e) Number, date, month, year, and place of issuance of Identity Card;
g) Occupation, except for active-duty soldiers;
h) Educational level;
i) Date, month, year the citizen reports the loss of Identity Card or Citizenship Identification Card.
Therefore, if when carrying out the procedures for issuing a chip-attached CCCD, you declare information about your educational level, it will be stored in the Citizenship Identity Database. In case you have declared it but cannot find the information, you may notify the previous registration agency to have it rechecked.
