Conditions for Implementing Administrative Procedures for Re-Registration of Birth with Foreign Elements
Conditions for performing administrative procedures for re-registration of birth with foreign elements are stipulated in Part II, Decision 1872/QD-BTP of 2020. To be specific:
- Vietnamese citizens residing abroad or foreigners who registered their birth with a competent authority of Vietnam before January 01, 2016, but both the Birth Registration Book and the original Birth Certificate are lost.
- The person making the request must be alive at the time of requesting re-registration of birth.
- The requester is responsible for submitting all copies of documents and materials related to the re-registration of birth.
