Cases in which the date, month, and year of death are recorded according to the lunar calendar when registering the death.
Based on Clause 2, Article 4 of Decree 123/2015/ND-CP stipulating the content of death registration as follows:
When registering a death as prescribed by the Civil Status Law, the death certificate must include the following information: The surname, middle name, first name, year of birth of the deceased; the personal identification number of the deceased, if any; place of death; cause of death; the hour, day, month, year of death according to the Gregorian calendar; nationality if the deceased is a foreigner.
Therefore, according to the current law, it is uniformly required that the time of death, including the hour, day, month, and year, be recorded according to the Gregorian calendar when registering a death. Thus, this recording is done according to the Gregorian calendar and there are no cases where it is allowed to be recorded according to the Lunar calendar.
Respectfully!
