Can Demobilized Police Officers Apply for Positions as Aviation Security Personnel?

According to Clause 4, Article 49 of Circular 13/2019/TT-BGTVT, it is stipulated that: Aviation security control staff must meet the standards prescribed by the Ministry of Transport regarding aviation personnel; training, coaching, and testing of aviation personnel.

Based on Article 8 of Circular 10/2018/TT-BGTVT, the standards for aviation personnel are prescribed as follows:

- Must be a Vietnamese citizen, 18 years old or older, with a clear background, in good health, and a high school graduate or higher;

- Must have no criminal records as prescribed by law; must not use drugs or stimulants;

- Must be licensed by the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam as aviation security control staff.

Additionally, they must meet the standards as prescribed in specialized aviation law documents in the fields of aircraft, aircraft operations, management, and assurance of flight operations.

Thus, if you meet all the above conditions, you will be eligible to apply for the position of aviation security staff.
