Can a Child Who is Born and Then Immediately Dies Be Issued a Birth Certificate?
Clause 3, Article 30 of the Civil Code 2015 stipulates:
Children born and surviving for twenty-four hours or more before passing away must have their birth and death registered; if they are born and survive for less than twenty-four hours, birth and death registration is not required, except when requested by the biological father or mother.
In principle, children who are born and survive for twenty-four hours or more before passing away must have their birth registered, whereas cases where death occurs before twenty-four hours do not require birth registration. However, if the biological parents request it, the child can still be registered according to the regulations, so in the case where a newborn passes away immediately, birth registration can still be done if requested by the child's biological parents.
Respectfully!
