According to Clause 1, Article 2 of the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families, 1990, it is stipulated as follows:
The term "migrant worker" refers to a person who has been, is, or will be engaged in a remunerated activity in a State of which they are not a national.
