Technical Documentation of a Home Elevator Includes Which Papers and Documents?
The technical dossier for a home elevator includes the documents and materials stipulated in Section 3 of the National Technical Regulation QCVN 32:2018/BLDTBXH on Occupational Safety for Home Elevators (effective from March 01, 2019). Specifically:
- General explanatory document.
- Copy of test certificates on a sample for safety components and mechanisms.
- Copy of certificates for other important components (cables, chains, explosion-proof devices, glass, etc.).
- Diagram of the operating principle.
- Assembly drawings of elevator component groups, cable installation diagrams, counterweights.
- General drawing of the elevator indicating the main dimensions and parameters, cabin dimensions.
- Instructions for installation, operation, maintenance, servicing, and rescue procedures.
- All components comprising the elevator must have quality certification and place of manufacture; upon leaving the factory, the elevator must have clearly indicated model code and permissible load (number of people) on the control panel inside the cabin.
