Regulations on the Management of Beekeeping
Based on Article 65 of the 2018 Animal Husbandry Law:
- Honey bee colonies are domesticated bees that must be free from diseases.
- Organizations and individuals raising honey bees for honey must ensure disease safety for the bees, maintain environmental hygiene at the beekeeping locations, and ensure food safety for products extracted from honey bees.
- The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development prescribes the distance between honey bee placement points, methods for moving honey bee colonies, crops, flower areas for beekeeping, and the use of honey bees for crop pollination.
