Regulations on the Assignment and Authorization for Signing Documents Related to Consular Activities by the Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs
At Clause 4, Article 4 of Circular 02/2020/TT-BNG, there are regulations on the delegation and authorization to sign documents by the Director-General of the Consular Department as follows:
The delegation and authorization to sign documents by the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City are carried out as follows:
- According to the delegation by the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City, the Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City may sign on behalf of the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City the documents mentioned in Clause 3 of this Article.
- The Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City may authorize the Head of the Consular Division of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City to sign the documents within the Director’s signing authority, except for the issuance, extension, amendment, and supplementation of diplomatic passports.
- In line with the authorization of the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City and the delegation of the Head of the Consular Division, the Deputy Head of the Consular Division of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City may sign on behalf of the Head of the Consular Division the documents within the signing authority of the Head of the Division.
