Households Exempt from Electricity Charges for Residential Use Due to Covid-19?
In Official Dispatch 4748/BCT-DTDL in 2021, it is stipulated:
The beneficiaries of electricity bill reduction are residential customers using electricity for living purposes in the following localities:

- Districts, district-level towns, provincial cities, and centrally-run cities currently implementing comprehensive social distancing according to Directive No. 16/CT-TTg as of July 30, 2021.
The list of localities eligible for electricity bill reduction as mentioned above is provided by the People's Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities to the power units.
Electricity bill reduction levels:
- A 15% reduction in the electricity bill (before VAT) on the electricity bill for customers using up to 200 kWh/month.
- A 10% reduction in the electricity bill (before VAT) on the electricity bill for customers using over 200 kWh/month.
