Handling Noise in Livestock Activities in Accordance with the 2018 Livestock Law
On November 19, 2018, the XIV National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, during its 6th session, passed the Livestock Production Law No. 32/2018/QH14 (hereinafter referred to as the 2018 Livestock Production Law).
The 2018 Livestock Production Law regulates livestock production activities; the rights and obligations of organizations and individuals involved in livestock production; and state management of livestock production.
According to the provisions of Article 61 of the 2018 Livestock Production Law (effective from January 1, 2020), the handling of noise in household livestock production is specifically regulated as follows:
Noise in livestock production activities includes noise emitted from livestock and equipment used in livestock production activities.
Organizations and individuals owning farm livestock production facilities, and household livestock owners must handle the noise emitted in livestock production activities in accordance with national technical regulations on noise in livestock production activities.
