Gasoline Vapor Recovery System at Gasoline Retail Stations
Requirements for the gasoline vapor recovery system at gasoline retail outlets are stipulated in Article 14 of Circular 15/2020/TT-BCT. Specifically:
The diagram and principles of a typical gasoline vapor recovery system are described in Appendix II issued together with this Regulation.
The vapor recovery system must ensure that all gasoline vapors generated during the delivery process are returned to the truck's tank.
The equipment used in the vapor recovery system must be made of materials resistant to gasoline and non-flammable.
General requirements for the vapor recovery system:
a) The vent valve system of the storage tanks must comply with the regulations stipulated in this Regulation.
b) The vapor recovery port of the retail outlet is to be independently installed corresponding to the vent valve system of the storage tank.
c) The quick couplings must meet the quality and sealing requirements: the rubber gasket must be oil-resistant, and the plugs and sockets of the quick couplings at the gasoline retail outlet and on the truck must be compatible.
d) After the system is installed, it is necessary to test the airtightness and inspect the quality of the vent valves, check valves, and quick couplings of the entire system.
Sincerely.
