Documents Required for the First Import of Breeding Males, Semen, and Livestock Embryos

At Article 5 of Circular No. 22/2019/TT-BNNPTNT, there are regulations regarding the composition of the initial import dossier for breeding males, semen, and embryos of livestock within the management of breeds and breeding products. To be specific:

- An application for the import of breeding males, semen, and embryos of livestock following the form stipulated in Appendix III issued with this Circular.

- A profile of the breeding males, semen, and embryos of imported livestock following the form stipulated in Appendix III issued with this Circular.

- A document from a competent authority or an organization authorized by the competent authority of the exporting country confirming the origin, provenance, quality of the breed, and intended use (the document must be an original or a certified copy accompanied by a Vietnamese translation certified by the importing unit).
