Conditions for Candidates to Compete in Miss Vietnam

According to Clause 1, Article 19 of Decree 79/2012/ND-CP on Regulations on Performing Arts, Fashion Shows; Beauty and Model Contests; Circulation and Trading of Music and Stage Audio and Video Recordings, it is stipulated that contestants must meet the following conditions:

- Be a female Vietnamese citizen, at least eighteen years old, with natural beauty;

- Hold at least a high school diploma;

- Have no criminal record; not currently under criminal prosecution;

- Meet the contest criteria set by the Organizing Committee.

Article 6 of Circular 01/2016/TT-BVHTTDL provides clear guidance: A contestant with natural beauty is one who has not undergone cosmetic surgery.

=> Thus, contestants entering Miss Vietnam must first meet the above conditions. Each contest will have its own conditions and different criteria to select contestants, which is why they typically organize multiple rounds of competition.
