Can a university graduate in pharmacy work as a commune veterinary staff?
Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 3 of Circular 29/2016/TT-BNNPTNT, the standards for commune veterinary staff are stipulated as follows:
- Training Level
a) Possess an intermediate level or higher in one of the following specialties: Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry, Aquatic Animal Pathology, Aquaculture;
b) Possess a primary level or higher in one of the specialties specified in point a of this clause for commune-level areas in mountainous regions, border areas, islands, remote areas, ethnic minority areas, and areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions.
Thus, one of the training level standards is in the field of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry, Aquatic Animal Pathology, Aquaculture. Therefore, graduating in the field of pharmacy will not meet the above-mentioned conditions.
