Can a 31-year-old apply for the position of Commune Youth Union Secretary?

The Secretary of the Commune Youth Union must meet the general standards stipulated in Article 7 of the Regulation on officers of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, issued together with Decision 289-QD/TW in 2010.

In addition, according to Article 11 of the Regulation on officers of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, issued together with Decision 289-QD/TW in 2010, the standards for the Secretary of the Commune Youth Union are defined as follows:

- Professional qualifications must be at least intermediate level, with basic political theory qualifications.- Holding the position must not exceed 35 years of age.

For areas of special difficulty, border regions, islands, policy beneficiaries, general educational qualifications must be at least a high school graduate, and have been trained in the basic political theory program. Holding the position must not exceed 37 years of age.

Thus, at 31 years old, you are still eligible to apply for the Secretary of the Commune Youth Union.
