What is salary table for student counseling officers in Vietnam from November 4, 2024?
According to Article 9 of Circular 11/2024/TT-BGDDT stipulating salary arrangement in Vietnam:
Article 9. Salary arrangement
1. Public employees appointed to the professional title of student counseling officers prescribed in this Circular shall apply the public employee salary table in Table 3 (specialized professional salary table for officials, public employees in the State public service provider) issued together with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP dated December 14, 2004 of the Government of Vietnam on salary policies for officials and public employees and the armed forces (hereinafter referred to as Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP). Specifically:
a) The professional title of student counseling officers category III (code V.07.07.24) is subject to the salary coefficient of public employee type A1, from a salary coefficient of 2.34 to a salary coefficient of 4.98;
b) The professional title of student counseling officers category II (code V.07.07.23) is subject to the salary coefficient of public employee type A2 (group A2.2), from a salary coefficient of 4.00 to a salary coefficient of 6.38;
c) The professional title of student counseling officers category I (code V.07.07.22) is subject to the salary coefficient of public employee type A2 (group A2.1), from a salary coefficient of 4.40 to a salary coefficient of 6.78.

According to the above regulations, student counseling officers are classified in the salary schedule as follows:
- Student counseling officers category III (code V.07.07.24) is subject to the salary coefficient of public employee type A1, from a salary coefficient of 2.34 to a salary coefficient of 4.98.
- Student counseling officers category II (code V.07.07.23) is subject to the salary coefficient of public employee type A2 (group A2.2), from a salary coefficient of 4.00 to a salary coefficient of 6.38.
- Student counseling officers category I (code V.07.07.22) is subject to the salary coefficient of public employee type A2 (group A2.1), from a salary coefficient of 4.40 to a salary coefficient of 6.78.
According to Table 3 issued together with Decree 204/2004/ND-CP stipulating the specialized professional salary table for officials and public employees in the State's public service providers, the salary of public employees in Vietnam is calculated as follows:
Salary = Basic salary x Salary coefficient
