What is Foreign Technical Labor in Vietnam?

Cases in which foreign workers employed in Vietnam are identified as technical workers. Please clarify, Lawyer.

Pursuant to the regulations stipulated in Clause 6, Article 3 of Decree 152/2020/ND-CP (effective from February 15, 2021):

Technical labor refers to foreign workers who fall under one of the following cases:

- Trained in a technical specialty or another specialty for at least 01 year and have worked for at least 03 years in the trained specialty;

- Have at least 5 years of experience doing work suitable for the job position that the foreign worker is expected to undertake in Vietnam.

Thus, foreign workers belonging to one of the above two cases are identified as technical labor when working in Vietnam.
