For the districts and the districts of Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, Binh Chanh, Nha Be within Ho Chi Minh City (Region I), the regional minimum wage is 4,420,000 VND/month.
For Can Gio District within Ho Chi Minh City (Region II), the regional minimum wage is 3,920,000 VND/month.
In the case of newly graduated students performing a job relevant to their field of study that requires a university degree, the minimum wage must be 7% higher than the stated regional minimum wages.
Thus, if such a student works in Region I within Ho Chi Minh City, the minimum wage is 4,420,000 + 4,420,000 x 7% = 4,729,400 VND/month; in Region II, the minimum wage is 3,920,000 + 3,920,000 x 7% = 4,194,400 VND/month.
