Standards for Population Collaboration Officers as Prescribed.
The standards for population collaborators are stipulated in Article 2 of Circular 02/2021/TT-BYT. To be specific:
Population collaborators are volunteers working on population matters in the village. Population collaborators must meet the following criteria:
- Have an educational background of at least secondary school graduation. In disadvantaged villages or those with ethnic minorities where individuals meeting this educational requirement cannot be selected, individuals who have completed the primary education program should be chosen; they must be trained and educated on population matters according to the professional content issued by the Ministry of Health.
- Currently living and working stably in the village where the population collaborator is responsible; voluntarily participate in being a population collaborator; have a spirit of responsibility, enthusiasm in participating in social activities, ability to mobilize the masses, and be trusted by the community.
- Priority is given to those who are already working in village health care to concurrently serve as population collaborators.
- Have sufficient health to perform tasks as required.
