Salaries of Senior Experts in State Agencies from July 1, 2019

Pursuant to the provisions of Clause 8, Article 4 of Resolution 70/2018/QH14, the new statutory pay rate from July 1, 2019, is 1.49 million VND.

According to the provisions set forth in Table 1 of the senior specialist salary scale issued by the Government of Vietnam attached to Decree 204/2004/ND-CP, the salary coefficient for level 1 of a senior specialist is 8.80, and the salary coefficient for level 2 is 9.40.

Based on the above regulations, the salary of a senior specialist in State agencies from July 1, 2019, will be 13,112,000 VND (for salary coefficient level 1) and 14,006,000 VND (for salary coefficient level 2).

Note: This salary applies to individuals who do not hold leadership positions (elected, appointed) in the fields of politics, administration, economics, science - technology, education, healthcare, and culture - arts.
