Responsibilities of the Examination Room Proctor as a Computer Technician in Recruitment and Selection of Officials and Public Employees
Based on Clause 2, Article 20 of the Regulations on the organization of recruitment exams for officials and public employees, promotion exams for officials, and exams or evaluations for raising the professional title ranks of public employees issued along with Circular 6/2020/TT-BNV, the regulations are as follows:
- Responsibilities of exam room proctors acting as computer technicians:
+ Ensure that the computer systems in the exam room operate correctly; if computers are damaged, they are responsible for repairing or replacing them promptly.
+ Input exam questions data into the server; seal the server and data storage devices at the end of the process in the presence of representatives from the Exam Council, the Proctoring Committee, the Supervisory Committee, and the police (if invited to participate). The data input for the exam questions is to be carried out within 24 hours before the start of the first exam session and must be documented and verified by the participating parties.
+ Inspect the computers in the exam room before, during, and after the exam process.
+ Coordinate with hallway proctors and exam room proctors to check the items brought into the exam room by candidates, guide candidates to sit in the correct positions, and prevent candidates from bringing prohibited materials and items into the exam room.
+ At the end of each exam session, seal the server and data storage devices.
+ At the end of each subject, back up all data to storage devices, seal it, and hand it over to the Chief of the Proctoring Committee; subsequently, delete all stored data on the server. The handover must be documented and signed off by all parties involved.
