Responsibilities and Rights of Students at Vocational Education Institutions
Article 63 of the Law on Vocational Education 2006 stipulates the duties and rights of vocational learners as follows:
Vocational learners have duties and rights as prescribed in Articles 85 and 86 of the Education Law.

Article 85. Duties of learners
Learners have the following duties:
Fulfill learning and training tasks according to the programs and educational plans of schools and other educational institutions;
Respect educators, staff, and workers of the schools and other educational institutions; foster solidarity, support each other in learning and training; comply with school regulations and bylaws; abide by the laws of the State;
Participate in labor activities and social activities, and engage in environmental protection activities suitable to their age, health, and capabilities;
Preserve and protect the property of the schools and other educational institutions;
Contribute to building, protecting, and promoting the traditions of the schools and other educational institutions.
Article 86. Rights of learners
Learners have the following rights:
To be respected and treated equally by schools and other educational institutions, and to be provided with full information about their learning and training activities;
To study at an early age, skip grades, shorten the time for program completion, study beyond the prescribed age, extend the study period, or repeat a class;
To be granted diplomas and certificates upon graduation from the educational level or training proficiency as prescribed;
To participate in activities of associations and social organizations within schools and other educational institutions according to law;
To use equipment and facilities serving learning, cultural, physical, and sports activities of schools and other educational institutions;
To directly or through their legal representatives suggest solutions to the schools and other educational institutions to contribute to building the schools and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of learners;
To enjoy the State's preferential policies in recruitment into state agencies if they graduate with excellence and have good ethics.
