Reminder: Is It a Form of Disciplinary Action for Public Employees?
Legal Basis: Article 7, Article 15 of Decree 112/2020/ND-CP.
Disciplinary measures for public employees:
+ Applicable to public employees without managerial positions
- Reprimand.- Warning.- Dismissal.
+ Applicable to public employees with managerial positions
- Reprimand.- Warning.- Demotion.- Dismissal.
Disciplinary measures for officials:
+ Applicable to officials without leadership or managerial positions
- Reprimand.- Warning.- Salary downgrade.- Dismissal.
+ Applicable to officials with leadership or managerial positions
- Reprimand.- Warning.- Demotion.- Removal from position.- Dismissal.
According to the aforementioned disciplinary measures, reminders are not considered a form of disciplinary action for officials and public employees. However, if officials and public employees receive multiple written reminders, they may be subject to disciplinary actions as outlined above.
