Provisions on the Responsibilities of Trade Union Levels in Settling and Participating in the Settlement of Complaints and Denunciations
According to Article 33 of the Regulations on the Resolution of Complaints and Denunciations by Trade Unions, issued along with Decision No. 333/QD-TLD in 2020, which stipulates the responsibilities of various levels of trade unions in resolving and participating in resolving complaints and denunciations as follows:
- The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor shall uniformly manage the work of resolving and participating in resolving complaints and denunciations within the trade union system; promulgate procedures and processes for resolving and participating in resolving complaints and denunciations.
- The Inspection Committee of the General Confederation assists the General Confederation in managing the work of resolving and participating in resolving complaints and denunciations within the trade union system.
- Trade unions at various levels manage the work of resolving and participating in resolving complaints and denunciations according to the management hierarchy of the trade union organization; guide, urge, and inspect subordinate trade unions in implementing the resolution and participation in resolving complaints and denunciations; comply with reporting policies as stipulated by the trade union and the higher-level trade union inspection committee.
- The inspection committee is responsible for advising the executive board and standing committee of the trade union at each level on organizing the implementation and management of the resolution and participation in resolving complaints and denunciations according to the management hierarchy of the trade union organization.
- The directly superior trade union is responsible for monitoring and inspecting the resolution and participation in resolving complaints and denunciations by subordinate trade unions; handle individuals and organizations violating regulations on resolving and participating in resolving complaints and denunciations by the trade union and the provisions of the law.
