Procedure for Supporting Employees No Longer Participating in Unemployment Insurance Affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic from the Unemployment Insurance Fund
The procedure to support employees who have stopped participating in unemployment insurance affected by the COVID-19 pandemic from the Unemployment Insurance Fund is stipulated in Clause 2, Article 3, Decision 28/2021/QD-TTg, specifically:
For employees who have stopped participating in unemployment insurance:
- Employees request the provincial or district social insurance agency, where they wish to receive support, to provide assistance according to Form No. 04. The deadline for receiving support requests is no later than December 20, 2021.
- Within 10 working days from the date of receiving the support request from the employee, the social insurance agency shall disburse the support money to the employee, no later than December 31, 2021. Payment through the employee's bank account is encouraged.
In case support is not provided, the social insurance agency shall notify in writing and clearly state the reason.
