On June 24, 2024, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs issued Decision 801/QD-BLDTBXH in 2024 approving the Plan for official recruitment exam to work at the State management units of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in 2024.
The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs recruits 41 official positions in 2024 in 15 specific units as follows

Where will the official recruitment exam in 2024 of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in Vietnam take place?
According to Subsection 2, Section 4 of the Plan for official recruitment exam to work at the State management units of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in 2024 issued together with the Decision 801/QD-BLDTBXH in 2024, the time for organizing recruitment of officials is stipulated as follows:

2. Time and location for the exam
- Round 1 is expected to be organized on Tuesday, July 30th , 2024 at the National Academy of Public Administration, 371 Nguyen Hoang Ton Street, Xuan Tao Ward, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi City.
- Round 2 is expected to be organized on 10th and 11th of August, 2024 at the University of Labor and Social Affairs, 43 Tran Duy Hung, Trung Hoa ward, Cau Giay district, Hanoi City (further information shall be notified when there is any change).
3. Procedures for organizing examinations
The organization of official recruitment exam is carried out in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 138/2020/ND-CP dated November 27, 2020 of the Government, the Rules and regulations for organizing exams issued together with Circular No. 6/ TT-BNV dated December 2, 2020 of the Minister of Home Affairs.
Therefore, the official recruitment exam in 2024 of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in Vietnam shall take place at the following locations:
- Round 1 exam is scheduled to be organized at the National Academy of Public Administration, 371 Nguyen Hoang Ton Street, Xuan Tao Ward, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi City.
- Round 2 exam is scheduled to be organized at the University of Labor and Social Affairs, 43 Tran Duy Hung, Trung Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi City (further information shall be notified when there is any change).

What are conditions for foreign language and computer skills of the ofifcials participating in official recruitment exam in 2024 of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in Vietnam?
According to Subsection 2, Section 3 of the Plan for official recruitment exam to work at the State management units of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in 2024 issued together with the Decision 801/QD-BLDTBXH in 2024, the conditions for foreign language and computer skills of the ofifcials participating in official recruitment exam in 2024 of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in Vietnam are stipulated as follows:
- Positions to which pay grades of Specialist, Clerk, and Accountant are applied required skills in using foreign languages and information technology (according to job position, Clause 3, Article 7 of the Circular 2/2021/TT-BNV; Clause 2, Article 7 of the Circular 07/2022/TT-BNV; Clause 3, Article 7 of the Circular 29/2022/TT-BTC).
- The following units require foreign languages:
+ Job position: International cooperation specialist in the Department of International Cooperation, General Department of Vocational Education, with a minimum English proficiency equivalent to level 5 of the 6-level foreign language competency framework used for Vietnam.
+ Overseas Labor Management Department:
Job position: Overseas Labor Management Specialist requires the use of English or Chinese or Japanese or Korean as a foreign language with a minimum level equivalent to level 5 of the 6-level foreign language competency framework used for Vietnam;
Job position: Legal Specialist requires the use of English, Chinese or Japanese as a foreign language at a minimum level equivalent to level 5 of the 6-level foreign language competency framework used for Vietnam.
- Foreign language test are exempt in the following cases:
+ Candidates who have a diploma in foreign language at the same training level or at a higher training level than the professional training level required by the job position.
+ Candidates who have a graduation degree at the same training level or at a higher training level than the professional training level required by the job position issued by a foreign educational institution and recognized in Vietnam as prescribed by law.
