Is it Permissible to Contribute to Social Insurance from Two Companies Simultaneously?
According to Clause 1, Article 42 of Decision No. 595/QD-BHXH of 2017 as follows:
Employees concurrently having from 02 or more labor contracts with different units shall pay social insurance (SI), unemployment insurance (UI) according to the first labor contract, pay health insurance (HI) according to the labor contract with the highest salary, pay labor accident and occupational disease insurance (LAODI) according to each labor contract.
Thus, based on the above regulations, if an employee has from 02 or more labor contracts with different companies, the contributions will be as follows:
- Pay SI, UI according to the labor contract signed with the first company;
- Pay HI according to the labor contract with the highest salary;
- Pay LAODI according to each labor contract.
