How Many Sessions on Professional Ethics are Required During General Clinical Practice?

According to Clause 3, Article 4 of Circular 21/2020/TT-BYT stipulating the framework of content and duration of practicing medical examination and treatment, during the process of practicing specialized techniques, practitioners will be trained on legal regulations regarding medical examination and treatment, professional regulations, professional ethics, patient safety, and communication and behavior skills of medical practitioners with a total duration of 20 sessions (each session comprises 4 periods). This training duration is included in the total practice time of 18 months stipulated in Clause 2 of this Article.

Thus, during the medical practice period (18 months), you will be trained on the legal regulations regarding medical examination and treatment, professional regulations, professional ethics, patient safety, and communication and behavioral skills of medical practitioners with a total duration of 20 sessions (each session comprises 4 periods). Therefore, professional ethics will be covered in some of the 20 sessions mentioned above.
