From 2021, When Is Additional Travel Time Calculated Beyond Annual Leave Days?
Clause 6, Article 113 of the 2019 Labor Code (Effective from January 1, 2021) stipulates the following content:
When taking annual leave, if an employee travels by road, rail, or waterway, and the total travel time for both departure and return exceeds 2 days, the travel days from the 3rd day onwards shall be counted as extra travel time outside of the annual leave days, and this is applicable to only one leave instance per year.
Thus, travel time is only counted for one leave instance per year when the above conditions are met.
