Do current Grade II Primary School Teachers appointed to the new Grade II need to obtain a training certificate?
According to the provisions stipulated at Point c, Clause 1, Article 7 of Circular 02/2021/TT-BGDDT:
Primary school teachers of grade II (V.07.03.07) appointed in accordance with the provisions of Inter-ministerial Circular 21/2015/TTLT-BGDDT-BNV, if satisfying the standards of professional titles as stipulated in this Circular, shall be appointed to the professional title of primary school teacher as follows:
+ Primary school teachers of grade II (code V.07.03.07) are appointed to the professional title of primary school teacher of grade II (code V.07.03.28).
At the same time, according to the provisions at Point d, Clause 2 Official Dispatch 971/BGDDT-NGCBQLGD in 2021:
According to the provisions of Circulars No. 01, 02, 03, 04, the refresher certificates according to the professional title standards of preschool teachers of grade II, grade III, primary school teachers of grade II, grade III, secondary school teachers of grade I, grade II, high school teachers of grade I, grade II stipulated in Inter-ministerial Circulars No. 20, 21, 22, 236 are recognized as equivalent to the refresher certificates according to the corresponding professional title standards stipulated in Circulars No. 01, 02, 03, 04.
Therefore, the refresher certificate according to the old professional title standards of primary school teachers of grade II will be recognized as equivalent to the refresher certificate according to the new professional title standards of grade II stipulated in Circular 02/2021/TT-BGDDT.
Therefore, in this case, if you meet all the conditions as stipulated above, you will be appointed to the new professional title of primary school teacher of grade II. And there is no need to retake the refresher course for the professional title certificate.
