Civil Defense Involved in Fire Prevention and Fighting Training and Professional Development Will Receive What Level of Allowance?
At Article 5 of Circular 04/2021/TT-BLDTBXH, there are regulations on allowances and remuneration for members of the civil defense team, basic and specialized firefighting teams when participating in training and professional development in fire prevention and firefighting, as follows:
Each day participating in fire prevention and firefighting training and professional development, members of the civil defense team are granted an allowance equivalent to 0.6 of the regional minimum wage per day, while members of the basic and specialized firefighting teams are entitled to a remuneration equivalent to 0.3 of the regional minimum wage per day, paid by the directly managing unit.
The regional minimum wage day is defined by dividing the monthly regional minimum wage applicable to employees working under labor contracts in enterprises located in Region I as stipulated by the Government of Vietnam at the time of conducting fire prevention and firefighting training and professional development by 26 days.
=> Thus, according to the aforementioned regulation, in cases where civil defense members participate in fire prevention and firefighting training and professional development, they will receive an allowance equivalent to 0.6 of the regional minimum wage of Region I. According to the current regulation, the regional minimum wage of Region I is 4,420,000 VND/month. Therefore, the allowance will be (4,420,000 : 26) * 0.6 = 102,000 VND/day.
