Can the Maternal Grandmother Visit and Meet Her Grandchild in a Rehabilitation Facility?
Based on Clause 2a Article 11 of Circular 21/2010/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated as follows:
Individuals post-rehabilitation, except for those newly admitted to the Center for less than 7 days or are waiting for the Disciplinary Review Council or are being disciplined through educational measures in the disciplinary room, are allowed to visit and meet with their relatives as stipulated in Clause 2 of this Article.
- Individuals with the following family or kinship relationships with the post-rehabilitation individual are allowed to visit them:
+ Grandparents (including maternal and paternal).
Thus, post-rehabilitation, the maternal grandmother is still allowed to visit her grandchild according to the above legal stipulation.
