Authority for Salary Increases, Promotion, and Rank Advancement for Professional Soldiers by the Minister of National Defense

Authority for Pay Raise, Promotion, and Conferment of Ranks for Professional Military Personnel Granted to the Minister of National Defense as Defined in Clause 4, Article 1, Circular 12/2021/TT-BQP. To be specific:

- Confer ranks for professional military personnel;

- Grant pay raises and group transfers for professional military personnel with a salary coefficient of 6.80 or higher; promote professional military personnel to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel;

- Upgrade professional military personnel;

- Grant pay raises and group transfers for defense workers and public employees with a salary coefficient of 6.20 or higher;

- Upgrade defense workers, promote ranks of public employees in defense;

- Extend the service age for professional military personnel holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and subjects stipulated at point d, clause 1, Article 8a, clause 2, Article 8b of this Circular.
