Currently, the subjects who are people with meritorious services to the revolution are stipulated in Clause 1, Article 1 of the Amended Ordinance on Preferences for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution of 2012, and the levels of allowance and preferential subsidies for people with meritorious services to the revolution are implemented according to Decree 58/2019/ND-CP. The levels of allowance and subsidies for each subject will vary.

Based on Section 5, Part II of Resolution 42/NQ-CP of 2020, regulations provide additional support for certain groups of individuals currently benefiting from preferential policies and social protection during the pandemic period as follows:

People with meritorious services to the revolution currently receiving monthly preferential allowances will be provided an additional support of VND 500,000/person/month. The period of application is 3 months, from April to June 2020, and it will be paid in one lump sum.

Thus, during the period from April to June, people with meritorious services to the revolution who are receiving monthly preferential allowances will be provided additional support of VND 500,000/person/month, and it will be paid in one lump sum.
