Application of Multiple Disciplinary Measures for a Single Violation of Labor Discipline: How is it Handled?

Editorial Board, may I ask: How is an employer handled if they apply multiple forms of labor discipline for a single act of labor discipline violation? Please cite the most recent legal basis. Looking forward to the response from the editorial board.

According to the regulations at Point d, Clause 3, Article 18 of Decree 28/2020/ND-CP (effective from April 15, 2020) as follows:

A fine ranging from VND 10,000,000 to VND 15,000,000 shall be imposed on the employer for committing one of the following acts:

...

d) Applying multiple disciplinary measures for a single violation of labor discipline.

Therefore, if the employer commits the act of applying multiple disciplinary measures for a single violation of labor discipline, a fine ranging from VND 10,000,000 to VND 15,000,000 shall be imposed.
