Allowance Level of the Secretary of the City Party Committee from July 1, 2019

Pursuant to the provisions of Clause 8, Article 4 of Resolution 70/2018/QH14, the new statutory pay rate from July 1, 2019, is 1.49 million VND.

According to Table 4 (Ordinal number 1) of Decision 128/QD-TW in 2004 regarding salary policies for officials and public employees of Communist Party agencies, the Fatherland Front, and mass organizations issued by the Head of the State Wage Steering Committee, the coefficient for calculating the allowance of the Party Secretary is stipulated as follows:

- Special urban areas of Hanoi City, Ho Chi Minh City: The salary level is arranged according to specific personnel.

- Urban areas of Class I, remaining provinces, centrally-run cities: 1.40 (this coefficient was amended by Point b, Clause 3, Article 1 of Decision 275-QD/TW in 2009) => Allowance will be: 2,086,000 VND.

- Cities under the province which are urban areas of Class I: 1.10 => Allowance will be: 1,639,000 VND. (This section was supplemented by Point c (Ordinal number 1), Clause 3, Article 1 of Decision 275-QD/TW in 2009)

- Cities under the province which are urban areas of Class II: 1.05 => Allowance will be: 1,564,500 VND.

- Cities under the province which are urban areas of Class III, districts under Hanoi, districts under Ho Chi Minh City: 0.90 => Allowance will be: 1,341,000 VND.

- Districts, district-level towns, and the remaining districts: 0.80 => Allowance will be: 1,192,000 VND.
