Which enterprises are required to perform the internal audit in Vietnam?

Enterprises that have to perform the internal audit are specified in Clause 1, Article 10 of Decree 05/2019/ND-CP on internal audit.

1. Enterprises that have to perform the internal audit shall include the followings:

a) Listed companies;

b) Enterprises with 50% of their charter capital is held by the State, which are parent companies operating in a parent - subsidiary business model;  

c) State enterprises which are parent companies operating in a parent - subsidiary business model.  

Thus, according to regulations in Vietnam, the above-mentioned entities and businesses will have to perform internal audit.
