Which Conditions Must Recovered F0 Patients Meet to Be Allowed to Fly?
Based on Item 1.2 of Subsection 1, Section IV, the temporary regulations for the implementation of regular domestic passenger flights ensuring safety, flexible adaptation, and effective control of the COVID-19 epidemic (Issued together with Decision 1776/QD-BGTVT in 2021), stipulate the conditions for passengers as follows:
- Must have completed the full dose of the COVID-19 vaccine (green card on the Electronic Health Book/PC-COVID or a certificate of full dose vaccination issued by the competent authority, the final dose must have been administered at least 14 days prior) or have recovered from COVID-19 within 6 months up to the time of returning to the locality (with a discharge certificate/a certificate of recovery from COVID-19);
- Have a negative SARS-CoV-2 test result by RT-PCR method or rapid antigen test within 72 hours before boarding the plane;
- Declare health status as per regulations, complete the commitment form and submit it to the airline representative when conducting check-in procedures at the departure point as per the form in Appendix 1 issued together with these Regulations;
- Do not participate in the flight if experiencing symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, muscle aches, sore throat, etc.
Therefore, in the case of being an F0 who has recovered from the disease within 6 months up to the time of returning to the locality (with a discharge certificate/a certificate of recovery from COVID-19), you must meet the remaining conditions mentioned above to be eligible for domestic air travel to Ho Chi Minh City.
Sincerely!
