Therefore, the road toll for a 7-seater vehicle is as follows:
- For a 7-seater vehicle registered under the name of an individual or household business:
1-month road toll: 130,000 VND
3-month road toll: 390,000 VND
6-month road toll: 780,000 VND
12-month road toll: 1,560,000 VND
18-month road toll: 2,280,000 VND
24-month road toll: 3,000,000 VND
- For a 7-seater vehicle NOT REGISTERED under the name of an individual or household business:
1-month road toll: 180,000 VND
3-month road toll: 540,000 VND
6-month road toll: 1,080,000 VND
12-month road toll: 2,160,000 VND
18-month road toll: 3,150,000 VND
24-month road toll: 4,150,000 VND
- The toll for 1 month in the second year (from the 13th month to the 24th month since inspection and toll payment) is 92% of the 1-month toll in the above Table.
- The toll for 1 month in the third year (from the 25th month to the 36th month since inspection and toll payment) is 85% of the 1-month toll in the above Table.
- The toll calculation period in the above Table starts from vehicle inspection, excluding the previous inspection cycle period. If the vehicle owner has not paid tolls for the previous cycle, they must additionally pay the tolls for the previous cycle; the payable amount = 1 month toll x Number of months due in the previous cycle.
- Total mass is the total permissible mass for road traffic participation as noted on the vehicle's inspection certificate.
The 2024 road toll for a 7-seater vehicle does not apply to vehicles of the national defense force and vehicles of the police force.

Article 3 of Decree 90/2023/ND-CP specifies the exemption cases as follows:
Exemption cases
Exemption from tolls for the following motor vehicles:
Ambulances.
Fire trucks.
Specialized vehicles serving funeral services, including:
a) Vehicles specifically designed for funeral services (including: hearses, refrigerated trucks for body storage and transport).
b) Related vehicles serving funeral services (including: passenger vehicles accompanying the hearse, trucks carrying flowers, vehicles transporting portraits) that are only used for funeral activities with registration certificates issued under the name of the funeral service unit. The funeral service unit must submit a declaration of commitment that these vehicles are only used for funeral activities to the inspection unit when the vehicle is inspected (detailing the number of vehicles, license plate numbers by type).
Specialized vehicles serving national defense, including vehicles with red license plates, white embossed letters and numbers equipped with specialized equipment for national defense (including: tank trucks, cranes, vehicles transporting armed forces troops understood as passenger vehicles with 12 or more seats, covered transport vehicles with installed seats in the cargo compartment, control vehicles, military inspection vehicles, specialized prisoner transport vehicles, rescue vehicles, satellite communication vehicles, and other special-purpose vehicles serving national defense).
Specialized vehicles of units under the organizational system of the police force include:
a) Traffic police vehicles with the inscription: “TRAFFIC POLICE” on both sides of the vehicle body.
b) Police 113 vehicles with the inscription: “POLICE 113” on both sides of the vehicle body.
c) Mobile police vehicles with the inscription “MOBILE POLICE” on both sides of the vehicle body.
d) Transport vehicles with installed seats in the cargo compartment of the police force on duty.
e) Prisoner transport vehicles, rescue vehicles, and other specialized vehicles of the police force.
f) Special-purpose vehicles (satellite communication vehicles, bulletproof vehicles, anti-terrorism, riot control vehicles, and other specialized vehicles of the police force).
Thus, the 5 cases exempt from the 2024 road use toll include:
- Ambulances.
- Fire trucks.
- Specialized vehicles serving funeral services.
- Specialized vehicles serving national defense.
- Specialized vehicles of units under the organizational system of the police force.
What are the forms of road use service toll collection in Vietnam?
Clause 1, Article 9 of Circular 45/2021/TT-BGTVT stipulates the forms and methods of collecting road use service tolls as follows:
Forms and methods of collecting road use service tolls
- Road use service tolls are collected in the form of non-stop electronic toll collection and one-stop toll collection.
a) Non-stop electronic toll collection is the automatic collection of road use service tolls, where vehicles using road traffic do not need to stop to pay road use tolls at toll booths;
b) One-stop toll collection is the collection of road use service tolls where vehicles stop once at a lane control gate at toll booths to pay the road use service toll;

Thus, there are 02 forms of road use service toll collection:
- Non-stop electronic toll collection.
- One-stop toll collection.
