What is the Marker Buoy Used in Inland Waterways?
Based on Section 1.6.1 Section I National Technical Regulation QCVN 39:2011/BGTVT issued together with Circular 08/2020/TT-BGTVT (effective November 1, 2020) stipulates:
The markings on the buoy are supplementary signal boards intended to clarify the meaning of the signal boards and are used in the following cases:
- Cylindrical buoys, column buoys or buoy bodies do not display the shape of signal boards as prescribed.
- Other types of buoys where the buoy body or buoy frame cannot install the prescribed signal boards.
- In places where the channel begins to change direction, curves, or dangerous positions, additional markings can be installed on top of the main signal to emphasize the meaning of the signal.
The markings have the same shape and color as the main signal but are smaller in size and arranged on the top of the buoy.
We are providing you with the information.
Respectfully!
